130 TSRTC Buses Deployed for the Annual Fish Prasadam Event in Hyderabad

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is gearing up for the annual Fish Prasadam administration, scheduled to take place at the Exhibition Ground in Nampally on June 9 and 10. In preparation for the event, TSRTC has deployed 130 special buses to facilitate transportation for the attendees.

The special buses which are arranged for the fish prasadam Hyderabad event will prominently display destination boards in Telugu, Urdu, and English languages, making it convenient for passengers to identify their desired buses. These buses will operate from various key locations in the city, including railway stations, bus stops, and the airport, charging regular fares. 

Out of the total fleet, 50 special buses will operate from Secunderabad railway station, Kachiguda railway station, JBS, MGBS, ECIL X road, and RGI Airport, directly to the exhibition ground. Additionally, 80 special buses will serve as transportation options from 14 other locations to the fish prasadam Hyderabad venue.

Passengers boarding buses from Dilsukhnagar and Afzalgunj will have the option to depart at Gandhi Bhavan and conveniently proceed to Public Gardens. For the return trip, these buses will operate via Gandhi Bhavan to pick up passengers. Similarly, regular buses traveling from Dilsukhnagar and Afzalgunj will take the route through GPO to Nampally. 

To ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for the public, TSRTC officials have established special counters at Kachiguda railway station, Secunderabad railway station, MGBS, JBS, and Exhibition Grounds. These counters will address any concerns or issues raised by the passengers attending the Fish Prasadam event.

The annual Fish Prasadam 2023 event attracts a significant number of devotees and visitors who seek the blessings of the Bathini Goud family. The fish prasadam is also known as Bathinu fish prasadam. This traditional event involves the administration who have a secret herbal paste, believed to have medicinal properties, stuffed into a live fish. The fish is then swallowed by the devotees as part of a ritual. It is also believed that fish prasadam benefits asthma and respiratory patients.
