The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has announced the operation of 200 special buses during the Ugadi festival season. These special services aim to facilitate travel for passengers, with a focus on key routes such as Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, and trips to Srisailam temple.

APSRTC Ugadi Special Buses Key Highlights

  • APSRTC will run 200 special buses from April 8 to 15 to accommodate the festive rush during Ugadi.
  • Special buses will ply on various routes, with a significant focus on Hyderabad, Vijayawada, and Bengaluru.
  • Additionally, 115 special buses will be dedicated to trips to Srisailam temple, catering to the religious travel needs of passengers.
  • To manage the expected surge in passengers, RTC will deploy special buses on four routes:
  1. Raichur to Srisailam (10 buses)
  2. Adoni to Srisailam (30 buses)
  3. Yemmiganur to Srisailam (25 buses)
  4. Kurnool to Srisailam (50 buses)
  • The RTC will add more services in the region as needed to ensure a smooth travel experience for passengers during the festival.
