How do I book a Hotel Room on ?

You can book the hotel room online in three simple steps. We advise you to book your room at least a week in advance. Once you book your room, you will receive an sms and email confirmation which can be shown at hotel while checking-in.

Is Login mandatory to book in Hotels in Abhibus ?

Hotels can be booked as Guest user also. We suggest you to login and book to avail special discounts and offers.

Do I have to pay extra when compared to booking hotel rooms offline ?

Abhibus does not charge anything extra when compared to the traditional way (offline). The Hotel room prices are absolutely at the same cost that the Hotelier has priced them.

What is the standard Check-in/out time in the hotels?

Check-in/Out time may vary from Hotel to Hotel, season to season and city to city. Please read check-in/out timing while booking the hotel.

How will I get the hotel contact details?

Upon booking the hotel, we will send you confirmation over email & SMS which will have hotel details like Address, Contact Number, Email Id, and directions.

How does the Check-in process work at the hotel ?

Upon reaching the hotel at mentioned time, provide your Hotel booking SMS or email confirmation to the hotelier. As per policy you may be asked to provide personal identification for verification purpose. Whola you are done !

Few hotels allows early check-in at extra charges. Please get in touch with hotel for early check-in information.

Why are different rooms priced differently in the same Hotel ?

Room prices depends on multiple factors like AC, Non-Ac, Inclusion of food like Breakfast, Lunch and/or Dinner. Also rooms could be different in sizes and amenities could differ room-wise.

I’ve lost my hotel room booking confirmation print out. What do I do now?

We send a copy of the Hotel room booking confirmation on e-mail and SMS when you book any hotel from our website. Please take a printout of that mail and produce it at the time of check-in. You can take the copy of the room booking confirmation form through the “Print Booking” facility which is available on our website

Why is it mandatory to provide my mobile number while booking the room(s)?

You must enter your “Mobile Number” while booking because mentioned mobile number will be used to send Booking confirmation SMS, same information will be also shared with Hotelier so that hotelier can get in-touch with you in case of any changes, to confirm your check-in or to make get the room ready before you check-in.

I have not received my booking confirmation to my email id, what do I do?

If you did not receive an email after your hotel booking confirmation then you can get the same again from “Print Booking” facility which is available on our website, or you can also talk to our 24/7 customer support.

I did not receive my SMS for Hotel booking confirmation on my mobile. Can you re-send it?

Yes. Please contact our 24/7 customer support and we will be able to re-send you the SMS for Hotel booking confirmation.

What is the minimum age of Hotel Check in ?

Age of Primary guest should be minimum 18 years.

Is it mandatory to carry the required identity proofs along with the Booking confirmation email and/or SMS?

What is abhicash ?

abhicash is a booking currency introduced by abhibus. It is a quick and easy way to manage your cash back and refunds with abhibus. You can park your Hotel & Bus booking cancellation refunds in abhicash and use the same for future bookings on You can also add money to abhicash wallet from your via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net banking and Digital Wallets.

What is promotional abhicash?

Promotional abhicash is currency earned by you while participating in various promotional activities of abhibus such as offers, sales promotions, cash backs, referrals and rewards.

What is non-promotional abhicash?

Non-Promotional abhicash is actual currency added/deposited by you via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net banking and Digital Wallets. Bus Tickets or Hotel Rooms booked and cancelled using actual currency & opted for refund to abhicash classifies as Non Promotional abhicash. In case of a cancellation of Bus tickets or Hotel Rooms booked using abhicash non-promotional balance, the cancellation amount will be credited back to your non-promotional abhicash only.

What are the benefits of using abhicash?

When you cancel a booking, it may take 5-7 working days before the refund amount is credited back to your original payment mode. In case of an immediate rebooking, you cannot use the same amount for your rebooking. With abhicash the refund amount is available to you instantly, thus enabling you to make new bookings without any delays. In addition to this, any loyalty cash backs or promotional cash backs earned will be part of your abhicash.

How can I add money in abhicash ?

You can add money using the Add Money Tab in your abhicash account. Every time you cancel a booking and choose abhicash, the refund amount gets credited to your abhicash instantly. Also, the promotional cash backs issued by abhibus will also be added to your wallet account.

How do I use money present in abhicash ?

You can use the promotional abhicash balance as per redemption rules. And the non-promotional abhicash balance can be redeemed completely at the time of booking.

There is not enough money in abhicash for booking a Bus ticket or Hotel Rooms. How do I proceed to make a booking ?

In case the booking amount is greater than the amount that you have in your abhicash, you can pay the balance amount via regular payment options such as credit/debit card or netbanking.

How can I get my money back from abhicash ?

You can use your abhicash for booking buses and hotels on only. abhicash (Non-Promotional/Promotional) cannot be withdrawn or transferred to bank account or other wallets.

Is there any expiry to the money present in abhicash?

Yes, there is a 90 days validity for promotional money from the day it gets added. Non-promotional money does not have any expiry date. Promotional abhicash refunded against any Bus ticket or Hotel Room cancellation/service cancellation will expire in 30 days from the day it gets added.

Can I transfer balance in abhicash balance to any other user?

Yes, you can transfer only Non-promotional money to another abhicash user.

Can I cancel my Hotel Booking?

Yes. The hotel bookings made through abhibus can be cancelled. Cancellation terms will vary for different hotels. Please check the hotel cancellation policy mentioned in your booking confirmation.

How can I cancel my hotel booking, if I need to?

You can cancel your hotel booking. Please visit the Cancellation page – enter your Booking details to proceed for cancellation. Please check the refund terms before cancellation. These terms are also shown at the time of booking, while you are selecting the particular hotel. These terms are also available on the Booking confirmation/details. Please check these terms before you confirm your cancellation.

Can I partially cancel my hotel booking?

A hotel booking cannot be partially cancelled. On cancellation all rooms booked will get cancelled.

What is Free Cancellation?

Few Hotels on offers free cancellation option which are identified by 'Free Cancellation' icon. You can cancel the booking within certain time before check-in without incurring any cancellation charges. This policy varies hotel to hotel. Please check hotel cancellation policy mentioned in your booking confirmation.

What Payment types do you accept while Booking Hotels on abhibus ?

We accept Internet banking, Payment via Credit Cards and Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Maestro Cards) ,ITZ Cash Cards & Wallets. We accept cards that are issued in India only. abhibus allows bookings for few hotels without taking any advance, where user needs to pay directly pay Hotel while checking-in. Look for “Pay at hotel” tag against the listing.

How safe are online transactions on

Transactions on are very safe. has the best-in-class security. uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL) data encryption. Using SSL ensures that the information exchanged with is never transmitted unencrypted thus protecting the information from being viewed by unauthorized individuals. This encryption is done using 256-bit RC4 encryption. In addition the credit card information is processed over secure gateways which are certified by Visa and MasterCard.

Can I book and pay for someone else?

Yes, you can pay/book Hotel room/s for others. It is not necessary that the payee has to stay or travel with them. Please make sure while Booking Hotel Room, you make booking on guest(s) name(s) who are going to travel. Also ensure that you are sharing the right booking details for the guest(s) travelling and also make sure they carry the Govt. issued ID cards to ensure that there won't face any issues while check-in at hotel.

I don't have a credit card can I still book hotels on abhibus?

Yes. You don't necessarily need to have a credit card to book hotels on All internet enabled bank accounts or Wallets can be used to book hotels. You can also select Internet Banking and then further choose your desired bank or Wallet to complete the transaction.

abhibus allows bookings for few hotels without taking any advance, where user needs to pay directly at Hotel while checking-in. Look for “Pay at hotel” tag against the listing.

Is Phone booking available for Booking hotel?

No. You cannot book via phone.

Is Home Delivery / Cash on Delivery of hotel booking booking confirmation/details available?

No. The facility to deliver hotel booking confirmation at home is not available for now. You can either carry the SMS confirmation or a printout of the hotel booking confirmation that you can print after booking confirmation.

How fast should I complete the online payment?

Payment for any booking, after selecting the desired room has to be completed within 10 minutes. If you don't complete the payment in 10 minutes after selecting your room, your order will be annulled/void and Hotel room will be released for others to book.

I did not checked in and also did not cancel my Hotel booking in advance, am I eligible for a refund?

abhibus provides 100% refund if the check-in does not happen due to either abhibus or its partner company's fault. However, if guest does not cancel booking in advance or does not check in due to any other reasons not directly related to abhibus it does not provide any refund.

I have cancelled my Hotel booking and when can I get the refund amount?

Generally all refunds are processed the same day or instantly in most cases. Money is transferred/refunded back to the passenger's credit/debit card/Bank account by the payment gateway within 24 hours. After which depending on the customer’s bank, it takes 5-7 business days to reflect the credit in your account. An e-mail confirmation of the refund amount will be sent to the email address given to us at the time of booking.

Would I get a full refund?

Full refund happens only when there has been an error from’s end or the hoteliers end. In other cases, where the Guest requests for cancellation, refund happens post deduction of applicable cancellation charges. Please check the cancellation terms of the particular Hotel- which will be mentioned on the Booking confirmation sent over email post booking. Or please contact our customer support for more details.

Are there any separate/different rules of Hoteliers which I need to know?

Each Hotel will have their own rules of & conditions, those are displayed to you when you are booking the Hotel. Please refer to the same in-case of query do feel free to call our 24/7 customer support if you need any specific information.

What is a cash coupon and how do I claim it?

A cash coupon is slightly different from a discount coupon. Cash coupons can be used for single booking in the given time period. They are generally issued when helping the customer rebook tickets if there was an error from end in an earlier booking.

Do you have any Discount Coupons that I can use while Booking Hotel?

I have a discount coupon but cannot get any discount

The discount coupon that you are using might have expired or has crossed its usage limit or is not applicable for the Hotel you selected. Every coupon has its own set of rules and these might be changed without notice for various reasons. However you can check the offers page for any active offers.
