The OPRS does have the following functional modules:

Bus Management Used by the administrators to manage the masters required for running the OPRS. It addresses various functionalities like creating bus layouts, routes, services, seat quota allotments, commission structure, waitlist tickets allotments etc.

User Management System Creates a secured environment so as to ensure that only the authorized users do have access to the systems

Master Reports Module is mainly used for reporting purposes by creating lists of stations, boarding points, routes, users, services etc.

Inventory management Module is used for managing and monitoring the ticket inventory issued to various users of OPRS.

Transaction Reports Used both by the administrators and accounts department to continuously monitor and generate the reports. The reports in this module can be generated based on different levels of filters like Region level, Depot level, Service level, Route level, Bus type, From & To Booking Date Basis, Detailed and Summary.

Booking Management Used by both agents and booking counter employees to book, cancel, modify and re-schedule the tickets; check status of the tickets; prepare booking reports etc.

Cargo Management Module is used to book the luggage and general receipts. It is a complete solution which allows tracking the luggage at any point of time during transshipment. Various analysis reports and MIS reports can be generated to track the efficiency of overall collection and to monitor the performance of the routes / vehicle / branches etc.

Miscellaneous Reports Used to monitor the feedback, testimonial, manage subscriber, new letter etc

OPRS - Current Services Profile

  • Currently, OPRS provided by AbhiBus manages the ticket inventory of 32 private bus operators and UPSRTC involving 10,000 buses. It has proactively studied and incorporated various features to easily handle the day to day operational, accounting and customer issues resulting from the operations of buses.

  • In addition to managing of ticket booking system of the aforesaid private bus operators and UPSRTC, AbhiBus has also aggregated a consolidated pool of seats involving the aforesaid private bus operators and UPSRTC using this OPRS platform which can be accessed by passengers / customers through portals of the bus operators, UPSRTC and AbhiBus

  • OPRS web services makes the provision for seamlessly integration of the seat inventory with the other ticket booking portals so that passengers can buy tickets online from the consolidated seat inventory database through third party portals like redbus, makemytrip, yatra and OneStopShop as well
